The German A2 course at IBV International is designed for learners who already have basic German knowledge and want to communicate more confidently in everyday, academic, and professional situations.
The A2 course strengthens your grammar beyond A1, covering past tense (Perfekt), modal verbs, separable verbs, and sentence connectors. Lessons focus on accuracy and common learner mistakes.
Students actively practice everyday conversations related to work, travel, housing, and social situations. The goal is to build confidence and speak naturally, not translate word by word.
Listening exercises train students to understand longer dialogues and instructions spoken at a natural speed, preparing them for real conversations in Germany.
Learners read short texts, notices, and emails while practicing structured writing such as emails, forms, and short messages for daily use.
The course follows all exam patterns like Goethe, TELC, and ÖSD A2 standards, introducing exam-style tasks and formats to build confidence for official A2 exams.
By completing the German A2 course at IBV International, you will be able to communicate confidently in everyday situations using correct sentence structures and expanded vocabulary. You will understand longer spoken conversations, read and write simple texts such as emails and notices, and express opinions on familiar topics.
